41 souls new Christians in Waynesboro,

Virginia, campaign

Here on our final day of the 12-day We Care Campaign we have already seen 41 obey the Gospel.  And is the fishing hole good here in Waynesboro, Virginia.

We have had at least 16 teams out every day with at least one local Christian on each team.  Most days we have actually had two local members on every team.

And our teams have had quite an experience!  One brother, Craig Suby, Cadre, has knocked only 11 doors since the first day; that is because he cannot get any further down the street!  Using the We Care approach, he has conducted seven studies out of those 11 houses, and one of those has obeyed the Gospel!

We send, like, 16 teams out; those teams conduct 14 studies with 17 or 18 local residents!

We praise God the fields are so white unto harvest here in the valley.

Why not invite We Care Ministries to your home church?

Its been a fantastic week and its only just beginning.  The enthusiasm, commitment and love for the Lord of the “WeCare” people is an inspiration to the congregation here.  Each morning and afternoon we have sent out more than fifteen teams into our community with two of the ‘cadre’ and one of our members to knock doors and follow up on referrals.  This morning, on those 16 teams we had 14 studies with 16 residents around the building. Our members have learned a great deal about how to share their faith with others and have seen it bear fruit.  When they return they have so many wonderful stories of needs being met, Bible studies being conducted and people who are ready to dedicate their lives to their Savior.

Larry West and his team have done a marvelous job teaching and motivating our congregation in reaching out to this community.  Together we have planted seeds and God has provided the harvest.  Two days into the “training” and we have already experienced eight baptisms.  We can only imagine what it will be like as the formal campaign kicks off.  All glory and praise to our God and His Son Jesus.

On the road -
At an RV park on the road to Waynesboro, Virginia, our next campaign, I met our next-door neighbor. Doug here with me is a “cradle Episcopalian” who, with his wife, Linda, love the Lord. We sat late that night before this picture was taken and I presented the Gospel to him. He has already reviewed the Gospel on our web site and is thinking. We are still in contact with one another!! Here’s what he wrote to me via e-mail: “Larry, I have already been to your web page and I am VERY impressed. Our conversation put life back into me. I’ll keep in touch.” Pray we can reach this precious couple who are trying to
get to Heaven.

Waynesboro, Virginia –  In our present campaign, we began by circling up on the parking lot and claiming the neighborhood for Christ …

Waynesboro …then, we trained by having Christians DO our approach in “lab”! We divided up into eight groups for three nights. (In this room are two we witnessed being baptized as Peggy and I arrived on site; see my letter; praise God that they are themselves learning to share their new salvation) …

Waynesboro … then we started bringing people to Christ! So far, we have already seen 22 obey the Gospel, and we’ve just begun the campaign!!! I’ll tell you more about it next time! Thank you!!

Waynesboro –  In addition to those in the classrooms, we had four groups in the auditorium in “Clinic”, DOING the approach on one another! That’s the way to train! That’s the way to learn!
